About Us

Married for 25 years, Tari and Scott Spurlock bought the quaint farmhouse in September of 1991, but on Memorial Day weekend of 2000, they lost the home, pets and many family treasures in a fire sparked by an electrical malfunction in the kitchen. But from those ashes, Tari and Scot have rebuilt and made their dream to own a bed & breakfast a reality.

After years and untold hours of hard labor, Tari and her family have transformed the ruins of their farmhouse into a San Diego-inspired Inn. This bed and breakfast now features some of the aspects of the original house including interior brick walls and some of the original wood details. In addition to the original design, 1,100 square feet of new decks and expanded areas were added including two bathrooms, an expanded kitchen area and amenitieohlalogos such as individual climate controls, a flat screen TV in each room and wireless internet.

Presidio Pines Bed & Breakfast in a proud member of both OH&LA and paii. OH&LA is the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Associations and the paii is the Professional Association of Innkeepers International.

Our History

Built in 1816, this country farm house was known as Davis Corner and was moved from it's original location on 200 acres by Joseph Davis in 1892 to its current location (just up the hill). Joseph had two daughters, Nell & Maria (Muriah) that occupied the property until their mid-ninetys. This property remained family-owned for 150 years, acquired by another couple for four years until purchased by Tari and Scott Spurlock, who transformed this country home into a beautiful Bed and Breakfast.
